Our Building

As soon as you walk through our practice doors our highly trained staff will make you feel right at home. Our practice is set in a unique building, which 120 years ago was a church. Our patients enjoy the one-of-a-kind atmosphere, which is enhanced by original mouldings and architecture. We also have a fireplace in the waiting room for our patients to enjoy on chilly days.

About the Team

Many of our patients have established long-term relationships with Dr. Feins and our professional dental team. Our patients enjoy top-notch communication on everything from dental services to insurance questions, as well as the excellent dental care you deserve from our experienced, qualified staff.

Members of our dental team are certified in the various fields of dentistry through education courses necessary for their position. In fact, our staff often takes courses together, constantly improving their knowledge of the latest advancements in the field of dentistry.

About Dr. Edward Feins

Dr. Edward Feins graduated from the University of Medicine in Dentistry in New Jersey in 1991. He completed a residency at Jersey Shore Medical Center, followed by a two-year Fellowship in Implantology at New York University from 1996 to 1998, where he trained with dentistry’s leading Implantologists. Dr. Feins graduated as a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI). Because the NYU program is exclusively dedicated to Implantology, Dr. Feins is imminently qualified to surgically place and restore your implants.

In 1993, Dr. Feins opened his practice in Northvale, New Jersey. He moved the practice to its current location in River Vale in 2000. Dr. Feins has gained a reputation in this community for quality dentistry provided with compassion, courtesy and professionalism. His dental office prides itself on communication and availability to patients, whether it is an after-hours emergency or just a simple question.

Technology is an important part of Dr. Feins’ dental philosophy. He strives to stay on top of the latest innovations in dental techniques, equipment, and biomaterials. As a result, his cutting-edge dentistry is more efficient and more effective. Patients can count on an individual treatment plan with a less invasive, conservative approach that preserves the integrity of teeth.

Dr. Matthew Peluso – Orthodontist

Dr. Matthew Peluso, a Board-Certified Orthodontist, grew up in Brooklyn, NY and began his pursuit of becoming an orthodontist by earning a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ. He earned his doctor of dental medicine degree from UMDNJ – New Jersey Dental School and was elected into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Honor Society. Upon graduation from dental school, Dr. Peluso was awarded the prestigious Stanley S. Bergen, Jr. Medal of Excellence. Dr. Peluso then completed an orthodontic residency program at the University of Maryland, earning both a specialty certificate as well as a Masters of Science degree. He currently maintains clinical privileges at St. Barnabas Hospital in Livingston, NJ where he is a member of the multi-disciplinary craniofacial team that treats patients with craniofacial abnormalities. Dr. Peluso has been named Top Dentist in the field of Orthodontics, by NJ Monthly Magazine in both 2010 and 2011.

At the office of Dr. Edward Feins, we provide comprehensive family dental care to all patients, young and old. Our services include routine preventive care, cosmetic dentistry, endodontic therapy (root canal treatment); implant dentistry, laser dentistry, periodontal therapy (treatment of gum disease) and oral surgery. We focus on using the latest technology, such as laser dentistry, to provide our patients with the most conservative, minimally invasive, and conservative treatments possible.
